Exclusive patented WALTER system: The cover’s panels and anodised aluminium tubes are interchangeable and so can be replaced at lesser costs and individually on site, if necessary. Special features: WALU POOL is available in two versions: - Opaque : Shuts out light so slowing down the growth of algae and pathogenic micro-organisms and reducing considerably the use of chemicals. - Solar : During the day, it captures solar energy to keep your pool heated throughout the summer, which represents an appreciable energy saving. Both the Opaque and Solar versions of WALU POOL trap an insulating air blanket which helps avoid heat losses during the night, so you can use your pool for longer.

WALU POOL: Small storage space needed!

When it is rolled up at one end of the pool, the WALU POOL cover takes up very little space Weighing 1.250 kg per sq. meter, WALU POOL can be rolled up in 2 or 3 minutes by just one person using a geared-down manual crank (or two people using two cranks for pools of at least 50 sq. m) or a motorised crank. The Walu has a maximum weight capacity of 100kg (approx 15.5 stones) and it is extremely easy to install and operate.

Safety is a natural concern for those buying a pool, which is where Certikin’s Coverstar comes into its own as it is one of the best covers on the market place. It is more than capable of supporting children, pets and even adults should they accidentally walk on it, and it also has other huge advantages over competitor’s products.

Mechanical Benefits:

- The Coverstar system is based on strength. For example, the sliders, which are traditionally the weakest part of a cover system are more than four times as strong as any other slider used in the industry.
- Coverstar’s exclusive heavy-duty double row sealed stainless steel ball bearing pulleys have almost triple the load bearing capacity of single row pulleys used by other companies. In addition, the exclusive rope has a breaking strength of 4000psi, twice that of standard Dacron ropes.

- All of this would be worthless without a good quality fabric to cover the pool. Rather than use the industry standard vinyls, popular with other cover manufacturers, Coverstar supply the far superior Ultraguard III vinyl composite in a range of colours. Ultraguard III offers the best solution available to problems posed in safely covering a pool in current harsh environments.
- For those times when we do get sunny periods, you can be assured that the high level of UV resistance offered will reduce the level of colour fading considerably as compared to standard vinyl. Under test conditions, Ultraguard III has been exposed to the equivalent of approximately four years of Florida sun and fading was shown to be negligible. This fabric also offers high resistance to chlorine, acid, ozone and other pool chemicals.
